Nash
Singh, Chief Technical Officer
“I’ve been with Airas Intersoft for
about 12 years, with a background as a client-side developer for
many Airas Intersoft clients. I now lead the development
for a major European Bank involved in Life Assurance leveraging
my previous experience. I’ve also been able to transfer my
skills from another industry by taking responsibility for iGas
application roadmap, building on my entrepreneurial skills. The
role is varied, I really enjoy the design side, Airas Intersoft’s
solutions are cutting-edge and so the design is always an intellectual
challenge. What’s new in this role is the client liaison,
in understanding requirements and answering queries.”
“The move to a solutions provider has exposed me to a broader end-to-end
development role than experienced client-side. I’m able to understand the
wider client brief and my role in it, rather then working on specific and discrete
projects. It’s real team work and the people I work with are great fun
as well as being extremely good at what they do.”
Boris Sackville, Non
Executive Director
Boris brings practical life insurance experience
to Airas. In
his life insurance career, before setting up Airas Intersoft Limited,
Boris was a successful salesman, head of agency management, Marketing
Director and Managing Director. After spending many years
with Abbey Life and then Skandia Life, he set up a new life company,
called Interlife, with Sid Paine.
As a former salesman, Boris is passionate about the necessity
for life companies to provide good service, which can only be done
cost effectively with technology that really supports business
objectives.
Boris firmly believes that the unique combination of IT and life
assurance experience at Airas Intersoft Limited has enabled it
to avoid the misunderstanding of client requirements that bedevils
so much of the software industry.
Sidney Paine,
Actuarial Advisor to the Board
Sid provides a business benefit to clients that few other software
providers to the life industry are able to offer: the services
of a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
Sid has worked for leading life insurers
in the UK including Pearl Assurance, Abbey Life and Skandia Life
before joining with Boris Sackville to set up a new life company,
Interlife. His career
has included both UK and overseas assignments.
He has been involved with the development
of leading edge products for decades – including some of the first unit linked products
in the UK – and has held positions as Finance Director, Investment
Director and Appointed Actuary.
Sid was closely involved in the original development of AIRAS™. Clients
setting up life companies for the first time, or expanding their
product range have found Sid’s services to be particularly
useful.
